I had to drive 50 miles to deliver a clutch part to my other car, it turned out is a merc 200d fatherland edition, which are much harder to find parts here in the republik of canuckstan.
we’ve only got color TeeVee a couple of yrs ago lor.
The new slave clutch cylinder ofcourse didnt fit! And my mech fnd did have brain injury few yrs back, being so brilliant he tossed the old one into the garbage bin, so I havent had a chance to compare both. If it were untouched by human hands I could get a almost full refund, since he had been trying to install it for 1/2 hr with no success, i doubt the seller guy is really looking forward to to give me a partial refund.
Anyways we pulled the old one apart tried to clean out the rust, it didnt work it was still leaking. Anyways faced with a long timely vait, the worse scenario ve may have to vait for a new one from Fatherland within 2 wks will be a real Kosher already. That would include calling Pope Benny ( he’s a descendant from fatherland too ) for some miracle.
Anyways with some very serious praying to the good Lord our Heavenly Father, we were able to transfer the new parts into the old casing, and now is running as good as it can be.
Even going into reverse didnt hear the grind me a pound expensive noise.If u folks are not bored by a few of us modern days ” Those magnificent men in their driving machine ” i can post more of my saga about dealing with these 1/4 century old Mercedes oel burners.

IR got taken over by a co. several yrs back, it was still Ok but kind of petered off to the sunset.
The founder was Tim Low ( ?) i remember talked to him b4.
Then either he sold out or whatever.
A company like IR does take a while to run it full tilt inorder to attract some big moguls.
Look at she.c, discuss.c.hk, uwants.c etc they all seem to be humming along.
discuss & uwants kind of smart even though they do the very same thing they link each other and it didnt hurt them.
Another feature like to see here on IR is able to load pics here, so ve can have funny , krazy pics too.adding chinese here is definitely a benefit, as so many more preferred to write chinese, i am too old to learn how to type chinese now, plus is easier to type white, i much rather to keep it 1 system, except speak canto here more often now, my 2 day job I deal with canto folks.
